2009 So Far

2009 has been good to us so far. I have been working alot. It is kind of draining, but weel worth it when we get to send extra money off when we pay our bills. I cant wait until we get one of our bills paid off.

Janruary was a busy month. I worked most of it. I took a week off to go help J's mom start cleaning her house. Say a little prayer that she continues the progress on the house. I got to spend the nights I was down there at my mom's house. That was a good opportunity to spend time with her. I went and spent some time with my dad and little brother. It was also my mom's birthday and I got to spend most of her birthday with her.

We are going to get our taxes done on Tuesday. I am so excited. I think we will get alot back from our taxes because we bought alot for J's job and i also donated a car. Everything we get back, we are going to put towards my car.

Work has been crazy for the most part. The other day, I took a call about a shooting in progress. It was really crazy to hear gunshots over the phone and know that the bullets were hitting someone.

Well I started this blog so I cold vent about the craziness of my job. I will try to blog at least once a week. Back to snuggling with my doggie.

Remembering 2008!!

2008 was a great year. Hy husband Got a "promotion" and I got a new job. He is loving his job and so am I. We both got new vehicles. His was totalled in an accident that we were both in. Thankfully no one was hurt. I got a new vehicle because mine broke down on the interstate. It was really scarry but it turned out to be a blessing. It was a really heathy year for us. His mom had really bad pnemonia and was in the hospital for almost 2 weeks, but is doing much better and is expected to be going back to work within the next week. We had a great Christmas and have been very blessed in all aspects of life. Well that is a lie, we did not win the lottery, but there is always this year.

In the year of 2009, we plan on hoping to pay at least one bill off. Paying all off would be nice. I would also like to get his mom up here to look for a house. I also hope J and I can grow closer together and spend some more time together.

With our schedules being crazy right now we only get 2 days off every other week together. It is kinda hard on me some times. I really miss him alot when we have the week where we do not have a day off together. Hopefully we can fulfill all of our plans plus more.

I also pray that we both make it to next New Years!!

CRAZY!!!

Life has been crazy lately!! Josh and I will be celebrating our 3rd aniversary tomorrow. Unfortunately i have to work and Josh is off. It is carzy to look at where we were three years ago. Josh was 100 pounds heavier. I was wondering what i was going to do for money. I was living my life for myself.

Christmas is comming up in a few days!! I am not ready for it nor for the year to be over with. I do know that every year that goes by, we get closer to getting a house and having a child. This next year, we are going to work on getting all of our bills payed off and getting his mother up here to look for a house, and i thought this year was stressful.

In the next few months, we are going to be making some big decisions in our life. I trust that whatever God has in his plans are what we will choose. No matter what it puts us through.

Work has been crazy. I was just starting to fit in and make friends and now we are having a shift change. Only one other person from my shift will be on the new one. Thankfully I did not get moved to nights.

I have spent ALL day listening to a radio channel hoping I will be the rigth caller to win $10,000 and will be able to put it towards paying our bills off faster.

That is about it for now. I am going to make it an effort to write here more often. Since Josh is in a similar profession as I am, he does not really care about hearing what exactally goes on at work. Maybe I can vent here.

its been a while!!

So work has been crazy. There was a murder in the county a few weeks ago. I was not working when they found the body, however, i was working the next morning when the news channels were calling. And it just so happens that our computer system shut down that night.
Josh is in his final few weeks in police academy. That has kept him really busy and its been harn not spending much time with him. I guess i will have to get used to it though because he is getting put on the late shift and with me working EARLY we wont get to see eachother as much. We will also only get two days off together every other week. He likes his job and i like mine so I guess we will be good.
He has been practicing shooting lately. He is getting really good at it.
Our dog is doing great.
The people who were living woth us due to an eviction have moved out. It was nice to be able to help them out but it is great to have the house to ourselves again. that is about it for now. I will try to update more often but it is hard with the schedule i have.

study, study, study

I have been studying my hiney off these last few days. I have missed out on church, thai food, movies, and phone time. I take my test tomorrow so pray that I pass it. My poor dog is being neglected and so are my eating habbits. I haven't been eating much and then when I do it is whatever is convenient. After tomorrow I will be back to internetting, dining, and talking on the phone, so back to studying!!!!

Liking my new job.

So far I am liking my new job. Not too much going on as far as that. Just alot of studying the codes and alot of writing. But once we get through that tedious part of it it will be fun. The only thing I am having a problem with so far is the sitting. I am so used to standing up all day. Dont get me wrong, I like the change but my hiney hurts. So now back to studying

New Job!!

So I start my new job tomorrow. I am pretty excited. I am definately ready to move from just a job to a career. I went out and bought some clothes and a lunch box. I am not sure how the whole lunch thing will work but anyway I am ready. Thats about all of the news I have.
